| During
your stay at Hoppala Pension you can enjoy your
meals in two restaurants, in Hoppala Garden
Restaurant or in Hoppala Beach Restaurant. Whatever
und wherever you like, depending on day's time,
your habits or what is more comfortable for
you, you can get a drink, a small snack, an
icecream or a rich menu as well in the cosy
surrounding of the pension or while taking your
sun and sea bath at the beach.
Hoppala Garden Restaurant: Part of the
pension's site is a garden "eden",
in which (at least in summer) the fruits are
growing directly into the mouths of the guests:
apricots, cherries, grapes, peaches, plums.
On this ground also the vegetables and herbs
are growing, which are the basis of all the
mysteries of Sevgin's art of Turkish cuisine.
In the shadows of the trees or, if you like,
in the sun, surrounded by flower beds you can
take your meals from breakfast to dinner accompanied
by the singing of the birds.

Hoppala
Beach Restaurant: On the beach, few steps
from the refreshing bath in the sea you'll find
Hoppala Beach Restaurant. While relaxing on the
sand or after swimming you will be served with
cold or hot beverages, for instance the traditional
Turkish tea or coffee and, if you like, any time
with small meals or snacks. Of course you also
can take a candle-light dinner with unhindered
sea view from sunset until midnight under the
star spangled sky.
The food in both restaraurants is mainly prepared
with natural products of the families' own agricultural
activities. Vegetables from the garden of the
Pension or other fields in the neighbour village,
jam made with the fruits of the own trees, bred
and pide baked by Sevgin in the stone oven, eggs
for breakfast produced by the chickens of the
family, honey collected by Sevgin's brother, olives
and olive-oil from the own plantation, fish provided
by other members or friends of the family. The
menu always is very rich, composed by the natural
supply of the season but with an unbelievable
variety and as well a paradise for vegetarians.
With this combination of meze, vegetables, salads,
herbs, fish and meat dishes no culinary need will
be left unsatisfied. Almost legendary reputation
have the desserts offered by Hoppala restaurants,
always fresh made by Sevgin, for instance baked
rice pudding, halva and yoghurt variations or
Hoppala fruit salad. The ultimate delight of all
young or adult guests of the pension. |
